Sabanci University is a leading institute in Turkey with its diverse and up-to-date
curriculum in the field of Information Technologies.
Our university's staunch committment to
continuing education and willingness to actively participate in providing skilled workforce
lead us to extend our training efforts to the professionals in the field via Ortogon, a company
shareholded by Sabanci University. The strategic partnership with Sirius ICT in early 2008
helped us make this commitment just stronger. Together with Sirius ICT, a full service Java
training center is established in Istanbul by Ortogon to serve the entire region including the
Middle East and North Africa.
Types of training
Public Training
Our training program will be highly beneficial for those who
- are already working in the IT field, but would like to learn new technologies and develop their current skills for more challenging job descriptions,
- are interested in working in the IT sector regardless of their degree disciplines.
Our training grounds are the University Campus and the Communication Center in Karakoy at
the heart of the city. Depending on time and location restraints, the courses are delivered
either at the campus or at the Communication Center. Both locations have a modern
infrastructure with wired/wireless internet access and have comfortable training rooms
equipped with projectors and other equipment for carrying out a productive training session.
All of our courses are interactive and require your participation. As practical
applications are an essential part of the learning process, you are advised to bring your
laptop computer to all sessions. If you cannot bring your laptop to class or simply do not
have one, we'll provide it for you at no extra cost.
Corporate Training
If our course pool does not seem to address your current needs, you can call us for
arranging a course that is suitable for your project/company. We can make changes in the
contents of a particular course to make it suit better to your needs. Our staff can also help
you in assessing and evaluating your training needs and create custom-designed courses just
for your project group's specific needs. All of our regular and custom-designed courses have
the flexibility of time and location. We can send a trainer to your site to deliver the
course directly to your team (nights, weekdays or weekends). This helps organizations get
their people trained at the earliest possible time.
